Hermès Electrum hardware features a unique blend of palladium and gold, each metal used on different parts of the bag's hardware. This combination creates a distinctive look, setting it apart from the classic gold or palladium hardware typically seen.

Hermès Electrum hardware combines gold and palladium tones, strategically placed across different parts of the bag's hardware. The touret (Kelly turn lock) and rivets (nail heads) are gold, while the plaque (faceplate), sangles, pontet, four clou (feet), clochette (keys and lock), v hook, and clasps on the shoulder straps are in palladium.

This versatile hardware works beautifully with a range of Hermès leather colors, from neutrals to vibrant shades, adding an elegant balance that complements casual and formal styles without overwhelming the bag’s design. Electrum hardware remains rare, typically offered with select leather colors, making it a coveted choice for collectors who appreciate intricate details. The Hermès hardware code for Electrum is CT.

The Hermès Cinhetic bag with Electrum hardware has also appeared on the U.S. Hermès website, priced at $9,100. The blend of palladium and gold on the "H" closure brings extra emphasis to the Cinhetic’s distinctive closure design. Electrum hardware introduces a fresh, eye-catching element to this often understated style, which can sometimes be overshadowed by more popular models like the Constance, Roulis, or Verrou bags.
